House Banking, Finance, and Urban Affairs Chairman Henry Gonzalez was uncontested in his bid for a seventeenth term representing Texas' Twentieth District. He resides in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Gonzalez received a law degree from St. Mary's College and worked as an attorney before going to Congress. He also served in the Navy during World War II.
